Musical Projects –
· Hourglass – February 2002 – An up and coming progressive rock band. Created a 75 minute, professional quality CD called The Journey Into. Chad left the band to pursue a more personally fulfilling venture into Christian music. The band still plays with a new singer.
· I Have A Friend – December 2003 – Teamed up with Nicolette Hunter and Cindy Yates to create a two song CD (I Have a Friend), with the minus tracks included to be a four track project. The songs included on this CD are: “I Have A Friend,” and “Sometimes He Calms the Sailor Not the Sea,” and were arranged, orchestrated, and performed by Sam Cardon. Vocals were recorded at Baby Moon Recording by Marvin Payne and at The Annex by Jonathon Shults.
· LDS Performers Top Ten CD – 2004 – The song “I Have a Friend” was placed on the LDS Performers Top Ten CD for the 2004 season.
· Marshall McDonald, Christmas Dreams – September 2005 – Marshall and Chad met while performing for Women’s Conference in Lehi, UT and were impressed by each other’s musical talents. Marshall asked Chad to sing a song on his Christmas Dreams CD, which Chad readily accepted the offer. The song “Christmas This Way,” written by Marshall’s sister, Rebecca, is the fourth song on the Christmas Dreams CD and was recorded at Covenant Recording studios in American Fork, UT.
· Especially for Youth (EFY) – March 2006 – Chad’s voice can be heard on the 2006 EFY CD, on a song called, “All Times, All Things, All Places.” The song was produced and written by Tyler Castleton and Staci Peters.
